Memory space ONE

VR Space, 2021

memory space guides you through a virtual memory space. This space is open and is only limited by the elements that are in it. The elements, or materials, are digital content in different formats, for example photos, videos, texts, 3D objects. The placement of the materials creates a topology that follows an imament logic. All materials are related to each other and result in a network of connections. The aim of the work is to develop a closed cosmology through which the viewer is guided. This cosmology of memory space, like perhaps a poem, invites you to pause for a moment and perhaps find a new thought.

YesNo Machine

2020, Interactive Installation

The Yes No Machine is an interactive installation in which a face recognition algorithm analyzes the face of a visitor and classifies it either as Yes or No. This classification is permanent and cannot be chan- ged. The installation has been presented at a group exhibition In Machine We Trust at the Museum of Applied Arts as part of the EU-project INTERREG VA SK-AT "Design & Innovation" and at the AA Collections gallery in the program of the Angewandte Festival 2020. The Yes No Machine has been developed with contributions by Dario Bachinger, Erika Farina and Ana Mumladze. Foto credit: © Andrea Hanatschek/MAK.
